FRAGMENTS OF FRAGMENTS

rereading a lover's discourse
BACK
With the aim of exploring the field of digital literature, this project proposes a rereading of A Lover's Discourse: Fragments (1977), by Roland Barthes, while taking advantage of combinatorial possibilities applied to the fragments that constitute the text. It gives the reader the possibility to explore the fragments of discourse, and proceed to their recombination, through the reading path that one defines. Starting with a random fragment, the reading path is developed by selecting a “figure”, an “author” or by traversing the text at random. The fragments that form this path can then be saved and printed, reconstituting a specific reading and reflection on the lover’s discourse.
